So I'm home. Been awake for three hours, already remember why I don't come home very often. Chris went to Pennsylvania for the weekend, Kellie's in China, Dani won't be around till tomorrow night, Jesse's at his mom's and Rachel is doing Rachel stuff. It's not even that there's nobody around, it's that there's no one to even talk to. Fortunately, Law and Order starts in twelve minutes. This is what I do at home.
If there was anything to do anywhere, I'd go. I have a car, I have money (kind of) I just don't have any ideas. At least, nothing to do by myself. I had a ton of ideas for us all to do, but no one can / wants to. Ergo, Law and Order.
Went to dinner at Treadwell's last night. Apparently my parents and the bassist from Enter the Haggis are, like, real good friends. He lives in Freeport too, and they hang out from time to time. I knew that all the Haggisheads (like Deadheads, only for Haggis) knew the band from all the shows they've been to, but I didn't realize that Mark (the bassist) has a three year old son who calls my mom "Nana Sue." Cute kid.
I got my first paycheck from Quiznos- I'm sorry, "The Q" yesterday. 75 bucks for ten hours. I'm raking it in now. That is all.

This is what I just lost. Well, not lost. More like, didn't gain. Some lady on Craigslist was giving away her chinchillas and I wanted one. She wouldn't give away her cage though, cause she's keeping some of her chins, so I would have to buy a new cage. And food. And bedding. And a crap load of extra gear. Plus, you're supposed to let them out every night to run around freely, an activity I myself am nervous to do in our apartment, let alone a tiny chinchilla.
Today, I helped cater a seminar at Brigham Women's with Quizno's. Apparently, doctors are really pissy when you don't immediately serve them food. Nothing like Scrubs at all. Also, Quizno's employees don't call it Quizno's. We work at The Q. I kid you not.
Now I'm at JamSpot, chillaxing. I got paid today, which means I can buy myself dinner. I haven't eaten today. OH I also finally signed up for a fourth class for the fall semester that starts in two weeks. Talk about putting it off. Class registration began in March, and I just finished now. My schedule for Sept-Dec is as follows:
Monday: Music Recording 2 (1030-1145), Copyright Law (130-430), Ensemble (430-530)
Tuesday: Senior Seminar (950-1130), Music Entrepreneurship (1130-130)
Wednesday: Music Recording 2 (1030-1145)
Thursday: Music Recording 2 (1030-1145)
Friday: Senior Seminar (950-1130), Music Entrepreneurship (1130-130)
You read that right. I'm out by 130 every day but Mondays. If you were wondering how I'm gonna work at JamSpot AND The Q AND take classes, that's how. Also, that's four music electives. We in the Music Department call that "ideal." Others call that ridiculously easy. Either way, it should be fun.
Wow, got a new job, started a blog, finalized my classes. It's been a busy few days for me. That is all.

The beginning . . . it's where it begins
So Kellie started a blog. She's going to China and decided to record her exploits in blog form. This is me trying to emulate my friends achievements in order to feel better about my own life. About 75% of this blog will be fictional. I think that's the best way to handle it.
Today was uneventful. I woke up around noon. Watched some of The Office Season 4 on DVD (god bless Cambodia) . Went to work at Quiznos. Did I not mention I work at Quiznos? Yeah, started this week. I know what you're thinking, Skepty McSkepterson. Didn't you work at Wollaston's? Didn't you hate that? Didn't you go to work three times in two months towards the end? What's the difference between Wollaston's and Quiznos? Max of six hour shifts, plenty of tips, free drinks and half off my sandwiches, that's what. Half off. That's a large prime rib cheese steak for four dollars. Beat that, you smarmy codger!
British euphemisms are my new thing.
If you're interested, I'm starting a pool on how long this lasts. That is all.
